Joe Bellamy's career in auto body refinishing began in high school when he was enrolled in the auto collision repair program. There he learned and practiced the basics of auto body that he would later use to grow into a successful shop

After high school he was employed at body shops at two different dealerships. In 1977 he went to work at General Dynamics where the F-16 fighter program was just beginning. He was on the team that painted the Air Force Thunderbirds and has been painting F-16's and other aircraft since then. His true love and passion has stayed with restoring and bringing cIassic cars back to their true beauty.

Joe did auto body repairs as a hobby until 2000 when he established his own shop, Joseph's Coat. Word of mouth spread the truth about the quality work and extra mile Joseph's Coat goes to take care of our customers.

In August of 2006 Joseph's Coat gained two more team members, Ryan and Lacey Edmondson. Lacey is Joe's daughter and keeps the books and spirits up. Ryan is a jack-of-all-trades who has experience in a wide array of auto repair and restoration. With the added help, Joseph's Coat is quickly outgrowing our current location and will be expanding soon. Check back for pics of the future Joseph's Coat location!
